DepEd aids typhoon-affected schools in Camarines Sur

The Department of Education (DepEd) has distributed learning materials and supplies to students and teachers affected by typhoons in Camarines Sur, with more support planned.

Education Secretary Sonny Angara assured continuous aid during a visit to Minalabac National High School and other schools damaged by floods.

Gainza Central School received teaching packs and digital tools from UNICEF, while Bula Central School got learning materials and whiteboards from USAID's ABC+ Project.

Angara inaugurated Camarines Sur's first Academy of Inclusive Learning and Development (iLEAD), which will provide training programs for teacher professional growth.

The DepEd also inspected the flood-hit Minalabac National High School and visited Rodriguez National High School’s digital classrooms used for coding classes.
