Letran appoints Allen Ricardo as men's basketball head coach for NCAA Season 100

Colegio de San Juan De Letran has appointed Allen Ricardo as the head coach for its men's basketball team, the Knights, ahead of NCAA Season 100.

Ricardo, a former two-time junior basketball champion with Letran and interim head coach since February, emphasizes player development both on and off the court to build strong relationships and character.

Rey Nambatac will assist Ricardo as an assistant coach, while Willie Miller transitions from coaching the Squires to lead the high school team, with Kevin Racal and Karl Santos joining him on the staff.

Ricardo acknowledges the challenge of turning around Letran's second-worst record in the previous season but prioritizes discipline and growth over immediate success.

Former head coach Rensy Bajar remains amicable towards Ricardo as they both share a passion for coaching and developing players.
