Alden Richards joins tongue-out pose trend, directs 'Out of Order', hosts 'Stars on the Floor'

Actor Alden Richards joined a viral trend involving an old photo of him making a tongue-out pose, sharing a video on his Instagram page on Thursday, June 12, where he rated Filipino foods by doing a full tongue-out pose if he liked them and a partial one otherwise.

The video has garnered over 6.6 million views and more than 1.1 million likes, with the trend starting when Skusta Clee's 'Kalimutan Ka' was used as background music.

Among those who participated in the trend was Sheena Catacutan of P-pop girl group BINI.

Alden is set to direct his first film titled 'Out of Order,' which will make its world premiere at the Da Nang Asian Film Festival in Vietnam.

The movie stars Alden alongside Nonie Buencamino and Heaven Peralejo, with a release date for the Philippines still scheduled for this year.

He will also host a new dance competition show called 'Stars on the Floor' premiering this June on GMA Network.
