Ajinomoto invests P9.1B in Tarlac factory

Ajinomoto Philippines plans to invest P9.1 billion in a new factory in Tarlac City, scheduled for construction beginning in May 2026 and completion by April 2028.

The facility will produce flavored seasonings, sauces, and breading mixes to meet growing demand driven by population growth, infrastructure development, and stable domestic consumption.

Ajinomoto expects the new plant to ensure a steady supply of food seasonings for its expanding market in the Philippines and support business growth through automation and logistics efficiency.

The factory will generate employment opportunities for Filipinos and be Ajinomoto's third manufacturing site in the country after facilities in Bulacan and Cebu, which are expected to reach full capacity within five years.

This new investment aims to sustain production in anticipation of continued robust growth in the Philippine economy.
