AirAsia welcomes optional mask-wearing outdoors for 'ber' months travel

Low-cost carrier AirAsia Philippines welcomed the government's decision to make mask-wearing optional outdoors, saying it will encourage more people to travel during the 'ber' months.

AirAsia spokesperson Steve Dailisan said the move is a welcome development that will attract leisure travelers and allow them to enjoy fresh air outdoors.

However, the airline stressed that face masks are still required in enclosed spaces like aircraft and airports, as mandated by health protocols set by the IATF and enforced by aviation regulatory bodies.
