AirAsia cuts fares by 30% for PH tourism

AirAsia announced a 30% discount on all domestic flights in support of the Philippine government's efforts to boost local tourism amid the novel coronavirus threat.

The booking period for the promotion is until February 23, with travel dates from February 24 to September 30.

In addition to flight discounts, AirAsia also offers a 22% discount on baggage during the promotional period.

AirAsia Philippines CEO Ricky Isla said the carrier aims to make travel more affordable and has been collaborating closely with Tourism Secretary Bernadette Romulo Puyat.
