AirAsia launches PHP44 seat sale for summer travel

Budget carrier AirAsia is launching its PHP44 seat sale for the summer season with one-way base fares starting at PHP44 from March 31 to April 6, 2025, and travel dates ranging from March 31 to September 30.

The promotion includes domestic destinations such as Kalibo, Iloilo, Bacolod, Tagbilaran, Boracay, Cebu, Palawan, and Iloilo, as well as international routes including Taipei, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Osaka, and Seoul.

AirAsia Philippines Communications and Public Affairs Head Steve Dailisan emphasized the airline's commitment to making travel accessible for Filipinos during the summer months.

Forward bookings for April and May have reached over 500,000, with Boracay leading as the top domestic destination followed by Cebu, Tagbilaran, Palawan, and Iloilo. Internationally, Taipei and Narita lead in demand.

Coupled with a lower fuel surcharge cost for April, the Civil Aeronautics Board (CAB) has allowed airlines to charge a lower fuel surcharge, making these memorable trips more affordable.
