Utility worker attacked with bleach in Sultan Kudarat

A utility worker at St. Louis Hospital in Tacurong City, Sultan Kudarat was attacked with bleach while on his way to work.

The attack occurred when five individuals approached him and splashed Zonrox (bleach) all over his face after asking if he worked at the hospital.

The victim immediately sought treatment at the hospital and reported the incident to local authorities.

St. Louis Hospital officials condemned the attack, emphasizing the crucial role of frontline health workers in combating COVID-19.

The Department of Health also denounced the discrimination faced by healthcare personnel during this pandemic.
