China donates P30M medical supplies to PH
On Sunday, April 26, P30 million worth of medical supplies donated by Senator Sherwin Gatchalian arrived in Manila from Fujian, China.
The Philippine Air Force transported the items using a C-130 aircraft which landed at Villamor Air Base around 4 p.m.
The shipment included 20,000 personal protective equipment (PPE) sets, 3,000 face shields, 3,000 goggles, 100,000 gloves, 42,000 KN-95 masks, and 500,000 surgical face masks.
These supplies were handed over to Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana and National Task Force COVID-19 Chief Implementer Carlito Galvez Jr.
As of April 24, the Philippine Air Force had transported a total of 552,808.27 pounds of cargo using various aircraft types.
