AFP boosts troops for safe SAP second tranche distribution

The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) has increased troop deployments and is providing assistance to ensure the safe distribution of the second tranche of the social amelioration program (SAP) for low-income families affected by the pandemic.

AFP public affairs chief Navy Capt. Jonathan Zata stated that military assets will be utilized to transport DSWD personnel and goods as needed, while General Felimon Santos Jr. emphasized the importance of collaboration with other government agencies in this effort.
