Adiong questions Sass's honor over contempt

Lanao del Sur 1st district congressman Zia Alonto Adiong questioned whether controversial vlogger Sass Rogando Sasot still has any honor left, in response to her criticism of the House of Representatives.

Adiong criticized Sasot for branding the House as 'very corrupt' and failing to attend multiple hearings despite being summoned; he emphasized that those who value honor should face charges and participate in public deliberations rather than resorting to online attacks.

During a tri-committee hearing on Tuesday, April 8, the special joint panel cited Sasot and three other pro-Duterte vloggers for contempt, imposing an arrest order.

Sasot was penalized specifically for her failure to attend the hearings, responding sarcastically that it is 'an honor to be cited in contempt by a very corrupt House of Representatives led by a very corrupt Speaker.'

Adiong acknowledged and thanked other vloggers who attended the Tri Comm hearing for providing valuable inputs on crafting legislation related to fake news and social media.

The other three vloggers cited for contempt were Mark Lopez, Jeffrey 'Ka Eric' Celiz, and Lorraine Badoy, either for not attending the hearings or attacking the panel on social media.
