UST's Amiel Acido and NU's Cielo Pagdulagan named Players of the Week

UST rookie Amiel Acido and National University neophyte Cielo Pagdulagan were named Collegiate Press Corps UAAP Players of the Week for their standout performances from November 13 to 23.

Acido, a former player at Perpetual Help System DALTA, scored 14 points in UST's decisive victory over Adamson, helping propel his team to the Final Four for the first time in five years.

Pagdulagan averaged 11 points and led NU to an undefeated season with back-to-back Player of the Week citations, securing a Finals slot with victories over De La Salle University and FEU.

Both players expressed gratitude towards their teams and coaches for supporting them throughout the season.

Looking ahead to the Final Four, Pagdulagan emphasized that despite NU's undefeated record, they remain focused on improving before the finals.
