AC Miner selected 5th by Zus Coffee in PVL draft

Ateneo de Manila University standout AC Miner was selected by Zus Coffee with the No. 5 overall pick in the 2025 PVL Rookie Draft on Sunday at Novotel Manila.

Miner expressed her excitement about teaming up with Thea Gagate, last year's first overall pick and multiple UAAP awardee, saying she is looking forward to working alongside her new teammate.

The middle blocker aims to help rebuild Zus Coffee, which had a seventh-place finish and an upset win against eventual champion Petro Gazz in the previous conference, stating that she hopes to contribute to the team's growth.

Miner also shared her gratitude for her father's presence during the draft, who flew from the United States to witness the event.

The Thunderbelles, led by Jovelyn Gonzaga and Chai Troncoso, added veteran players such as Best Libero Alyssa Eroa, Maika Ortiz, Fiola Ceballos, and Ney Mabilangan to their roster.
