91% of Filipinos worried about family getting COVID-19

Filipinos are increasingly worried about contracting Covid-19, with 91% of adults expressing concern over their immediate family members getting infected.

The Social Weather Stations (SWS) reported a record-high level of worry in September, up from 87% in June and matching the previous high recorded in November 2020.

According to SWS, this level of worry is significantly higher than concerns about past viruses like Ebola, Swine Flu, Bird Flu, and SARS.
