Duterte: 74 BuCor inmates PUMs, 2 others PUIs for COVID-19

As of April 14, 74 prisoners and two others in Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) facilities are considered persons under monitoring (PUMs) and persons under investigation (PUIs) for COVID-19.

Among BuCor personnel, 80 are PUMs and one is a PUI.

There have been no confirmed cases as of April 7 in BuCor facilities.

These individuals are being monitored for symptoms and isolated in designated quarantine areas within various BuCor facilities.

The report also noted that the BuCor has coordinated with partner hospitals for potential medical treatment needs.
