71 infra projects ongoing, 12 set for completion this year

As of July 2023, National Economic and Development Authority (Neda) Secretary Arsenio Balisacan reported that 71 flagship infrastructure projects are currently underway with a total value of P4.11 trillion.

Three new projects have been added to the ongoing list: Metro Cebu Expressway, Nautical Highway Network Improvement, and Daang Maharlika Improvement.

Despite progress, 123 infrastructure projects remain pending for government approval or preparation.

Neda also announced that at least 12 of these projects are expected to be completed by the end of 2023, including the C5 South Link Expressway Project and Southeast Metro Manila Expressway Project.
