55,029 teachers pass LEPT; 16,282 elementary, 38,747 secondary

The Philippines will have 55,029 educators after they passed the Licensure Exam for Professional Teachers (LEPT) given in March, with 16,282 elementary teachers and 38,747 secondary teachers successfully passing their respective exams.

Jamaema Hiluano Mustapha and Raeiden Mogammad Pango from Mindanao State University shared first place in the elementary level examination with a score of 94.60 percent.

Jeanlyn Gunita Colipano from Cebu Technological University-Danao led the secondary level examination with a rating of 93.80 percent.

Sofia Cueto Atienza, Floyd Dumandan Bandalan, Leejane Planas Cogollodo, and John Reynor Betito Pionilla tied for second place in the secondary level with a score of 93.60 percent.

Jemima Keziah Natividad Castro and Irene Fe Cabual Navea shared third place in the secondary level examination with a rating of 93.40 percent.
