43M Pinoys fully vaccinated against COVID-19

As of Friday, December 17, 43 million Filipinos are fully vaccinated against COVID-19, accounting for 55.78% of the target population.

The government also reached a milestone by administering 100 million vaccine doses since the rollout began in March.

Health Undersecretary Myrna Cabotaje reported that around 950,000 doses were administered on the first day of the second round of the three-day nationwide vaccination program.

Acting presidential spokesperson Karlo Nograles commended various entities for their efforts and emphasized the importance of continuing to ramp up vaccination efforts in light of the Omicron variant.
