194K Meralco customers still without power

As of Saturday afternoon, 194,426 Meralco customers were still without power, representing a decline from the peak number affected by Typhoon Ulysses on November 12.

The majority of affected households are in Bulacan with 112,403 customers without electricity, followed by Rizal and Metro Manila.

Meralco spokesperson Joe Zaldarriaga said that while progress is being made, the company aims to restore power completely by Monday.

Energy Secretary Alfonso Cusi had earlier targeted the restoration of services in Meralco's entire franchise area by Sunday, November 15.
