26 Filipinos depart from Israel via Jordan for repatriation

This week, a group of 26 Filipinos seeking repatriation from Israel will depart via Jordan's land route.

Foreign Affairs Undersecretary Eduardo de Vega confirmed that these individuals are part of the 178 Filipinos who have requested to return due to the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran.

The first batch, whose exit documents or passports are ready, is expected to leave possibly this weekend and will be received by DMW Secretary Hans Leo Cacdac in Jordan.

The Philippine government, through the DFA and Philippines Embassies in Tel Aviv and Amman, is facilitating their repatriation and extending assistance to those injured or displaced by the conflict.

More Filipinos are expected to cross into Jordan in the coming days as the crisis enters its seventh day.
