2,369 UP Diliman students to graduate with honors

A total of 2,369 students from the University of the Philippines (UP) Diliman will graduate with Latin honors on Sunday, July 6.

Among them, 241 students will receive summa cum laude, marking a slight decrease from last year's figure of 286; 1,143 and 985 students will earn magna cum laude and cum laude honors respectively.

The UP commencement exercises, themed 'Lunas' (Remedy), will take place at the University Amphitheater starting at 7 a.m.

Veteran broadcaster Jessica Soho, who received the Gawad Plaridel Award in 2018, will deliver the keynote speech.

Mark Andy Pedere, a Philippine Studies student and valedictorian with a weighted average grade (WAG) of 1.066, will give the closing address.
