Davao City expands vax drive, opens new sites

The Sangguniang Panlungsod (SP) mobile vaccination drive in Davao City has served 4,700 residents since its rollout on August 30.

Councilors Villafuerte, Ungab, Ortiz, and Principe have vaccinated a significant number of individuals, while Councilors Advincula, Campos, and Justol-Baguilod each vaccinated 300 people in their respective districts.

Mayor Sara Duterte has requested councilors to set up mobile vaccination teams to help reach the city's daily target of 15,000 vaccinations.

Two additional vaccination sites were opened at San Roque Elementary School and Don Juan Elementary School, bringing the total number of sites to 20.

The city is also collaborating with various groups for sectoral vaccination and hiring more health workers to boost the campaign.
