Lawmakers push P1-B budget for Robredo’s office

Lawmakers are pushing for a P1-billion budget allocation for Vice President Leni Robredo’s office in 2022, following a DBM proposal to cut its funding by P195.38 million.

Representative Gabriel Bordado and ACT Teachers party-list Representative France Castro highlighted the OVP's contributions during the pandemic and its efficient use of funds.

Robredo told the House committee on appropriations that her office received 21% less in 2022 compared to 2021.
