445 Pinoys from virus-hit cruise ship now asymptomatic

A total of 445 Filipinos were repatriated from the coronavirus-hit Diamond Princess cruise ship in Japan and are now asymptomatic.

The first flight carried 309 people, arriving at Clark Airbase on Tuesday evening, while the second flight brought another 136 people early Wednesday morning.

All repatriates have been quarantined at Athletes' Village in New Clark City for a 14-day isolation period as per DOH guidelines.

The DFA assured that the remaining 80 Filipinos who tested positive will be repatriated once they recover.
