18-year-old Andrei Bolabola commits to play for NU Bulldogs

Pride of Caraga Andrei Bolabola has committed to play for the National University (NU) Bulldogs in the upcoming UAAP.

At 18 years old, Bolabola, a 6-foot tall playmaker from Tandag City, Surigao del Sur and a product of Jacinto P. Elpa National High School, is set to join Greg Ancheta and Jeffe Gallego on the team next year as they aim for their sixth consecutive UAAP men's volleyball championship.

Bolabola has already made a name for himself in various tournaments like the Palarong Pambansa 2024-2025 where he earned multiple Best Setter awards, and expressed his excitement about joining NU to help sustain the team's championship title under head coach Dante Alinsunurin and assistant coach Jesse Lopez.

The young player dedicates this achievement to his family and community in Tandag, saying 'Thank you to everyone who believed in me-my family, my coaches, my teammates, and my community in Tandag. This is for all of you.'

With the guidance from Alinsunurin and Lopez, Bolabola looks forward to becoming a better player both on and off the court.
