Taguig vows stricter quarantine enforcement after arrests

Taguig City vowed to enforce stricter quarantine rules after arresting 16 individuals for violating social distancing measures during a birthday celebration.

The arrests were made possible due to a concerned citizen's report on social media, leading to the activation of a 'Tapang Malasakit Disiplina' team composed of 1,000 members to assist the Philippine National Police in enforcing health and safety protocols.

Those arrested included three minors and were found not wearing masks or observing physical distancing during the gathering.
