PNP: 90 more cops test positive for COVID-19

The number of police officers infected with COVID-19 in the Philippine National Police (PNP) increased to 27,544 on Sunday, with 90 new cases.

Recoveries rose to 25,704 after an additional 85 officers recovered from the virus.

One more officer died of COVID-19, bringing the total death toll within the PNP to 73.

Active cases in the police force stand at 1,767 out of a total of 27,544 infections since the start of the pandemic last year.
