Zia Quizon clarifies husband is masculine, addresses gender identity speculations

Singer Zia Quizon clarified that her husband Aleksa Rahul, whom she met online, is a masculine man, addressing speculations about his gender identity stemming from his name.

She revealed on "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda" that she felt compelled to address assumptions, including suggestions that Aleksa might be transgender, despite her efforts to dispel them.

Quizon noted that Aleksa, who is from Serbia, was initially doubtful when she planned to visit him in person.

She traveled to Serbia to confirm he was real, fearing she might be "catfished."

The couple, who got married in 2022, met through mutual interests online, and Quizon advised caution when meeting people online.

She mentioned that Aleksa was not affected by the online speculations.
