As of Friday, 13,795 residents from A1, A2, and A3 priority groups have been inoculated against COVID-19.

This includes 10,449 individuals from the A1 group who have received both their first and second doses, 2,490 from the A2 group, and 856 from the A3 group.

The vaccination drive for these groups commenced after the completion of inoculations for healthcare workers (A1 group).

A total of 47,358 individuals have registered for vaccination, with registration ongoing for A4 priority groups and the general population.

The A4 priority group includes essential frontline workers and uniformed personnel.

Residents can register online through the city's vaccination portal at www.zambocovax.com.

Each of the city's 19 vaccination sites can inoculate up to 100 persons per day, with the pace depending on vaccine supply from the Department of Health (DOH).

The DOH regional office has received six batches of vaccines, with the latest being 52,800 doses of AstraZeneca jabs.
