Singer Zack Tabudlo addressed hurtful online comments about his appearance and alleged smell during his performance at UST's Paskuhan celebration on December 19.

Clips of Tabudlo during the event showed him in a sweat-stained shirt, which led to comments on social media, particularly on a TikTok post by UST Tiger Radio, focusing on his supposed unpleasant smell.

Tabudlo explained in a video statement that the viral video showed him at the peak of his energetic performance, which naturally caused him to sweat under the heat.

He stated that he chose to speak out to shed light on the difficult reality many artists face with online negativity and the culture of online shaming.

While some comments were deleted, screenshots were saved and reuploaded, prompting defense from others who noted his sweat was a product of hard labor and his effort to mingle with the crowd.
