VP Sara confirms Honeylet Avanceña can sell co-owned property

Vice President Sara Duterte confirmed that her father's common-law partner, Honeylet Avanceña, can sell her share of their co-owned Davao City property.

VP Sara's primary concern as a daughter is the future residence of former President Rodrigo Duterte (PRRD) should the house be sold.

She mentioned that PRRD could potentially move back in with his ex-wife, Elizabeth Zimmerman, as Zimmerman has expressed willingness to accommodate him.

Avanceña's desire to sell the property reportedly arose after PRRD's arrest and transport to the Hague.

VP Sara emphasized that the decision on the house's fate rests on the discussion between Avanceña and PRRD.

However, PRRD's son, Davao City 1st District Rep. Paolo Duterte, clarified that the elder Duterte has no plans of selling his house in Davao City.
