VP Sara Duterte calls for unity, faith this Holy Week

Vice President Sara Duterte urged Filipinos to draw strength from unity, faith, and Jesus Christ's sacrifice during Holy Week.

She stated that Holy Week is a meaningful opportunity to contemplate Christ's passion and death, which offer salvation.

Duterte emphasized that amidst national trials and division, the season is an invitation for healing, a return to faith, and a renewed focus on Filipino values of compassion, faith, and unity.

She encouraged Filipinos to let Christ's sacrifice be their guiding light and to emulate His love in their communities and service to others.

The Vice President concluded by urging the public to have faith and unity, stating, 'Manalig tayo. Magkaisa tayo. Malalampasan natin ang dilim.'
