VP Sara Duterte denies destabilization plot claims

Vice President Sara Duterte has denied allegations of destabilization plots against the administration, asserting that the government itself is insecure and afraid of the public's voice.

Duterte suggested that the term "destabilization" is frequently used by the administration due to their insecurity and fear of the people's voices.

She specifically identified the Makabayan bloc as a group that might hold meetings to overthrow the government, citing their vision to take over.

In response, Bayan Chairperson Teodoro Casiño called the accusation of "destabilizers" against those seeking accountability in a corrupt system as "gaslighting."

Casiño clarified that Makabayan's objective is to change the government, not to destabilize it.
