Duterte emphasized that climate change directly affects the nation's resources and the future generations, noting that fifteen tropical cyclones have battered the country this year.

She stressed that individual choices regarding consumption, waste, and construction significantly influence the severity of the climate crisis and our ability to adapt.

LGUs should prioritize climate preparations and adaptation in development planning.
