VP Robredo says people's support beats politicians' endorsements

Vice President Leni Robredo asserted that the support of the people is more powerful than the backing of politicians in elections, even if she has minimal support from local officials.

She highlighted that the people's collective decision is now more significant than endorsements from governors, congressmen, or mayors.

Robredo expressed her gratitude for the support of ordinary Filipinos, stating that nothing feels better than having their hands raised.

Despite not having the endorsement of major local officials in Bataan and the nearby province of Zambales, Robredo and her running mate, Senator Kiko Pangilinan, were met with a significant turnout of supporters.

She also received the endorsement of about 155 lawyers from Central Luzon and some 90 percent of the priests in Bataan.

Robredo urged the public to demonstrate the power of unity and bring the power back to their hands on Election Day.
