VP Robredo reports no adverse side effects from first vaccine dose

Vice President Leni Robredo reported no adverse side effects after receiving her first dose of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine.

Robredo mentioned experiencing mild sleepiness a few hours after vaccination, which subsided during a speaking engagement.

She prepared for potential side effects like chills and body pains by having medicines and blankets ready but did not experience them.

Instead of sleeping, she monitored her office's telemedicine efforts until 2 a.m. and woke up feeling well the next day.

Robredo stated she had no fever, chills, headache, body malaise, or arm soreness.

She noted that some of her staff who were vaccinated alongside her experienced varying degrees of fever, chills, and body pains.
