Vico Sotto wins landslide 3rd term as Pasig Mayor

Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto secured his third and final consecutive term, winning by a landslide in the May 12 elections.

He garnered 352,392 votes, significantly defeating opponents Sara Discaya (29,591 votes), Cory Palma (308 votes), and Eagle Ayaon (296 votes).

Despite facing "invented charges and allegations" during the campaign, Sotto expressed gratitude for the continued trust.

His primary focus for this term is to institutionalize reforms and expand social services, making it more difficult to be corrupt and easier to be honest in the local government unit of Pasig.

Sotto aims to ensure that changes like open governance and procurement reforms become long-term and sustainable, not dependent on a single individual.
