The comedian stated that he wants to normalize being called 'sir' and does not want it to be a source of amusement.

He also clarified that he is equally okay with being addressed as 'ma'am'.

This stance aligns with his previous statements in 2021 where he identified as non-binary and expressed flexibility with pronouns.

Vice Ganda mentioned that he is not offended if people use 'he' or 'she' pronouns for him, emphasizing his personal indifference to them.
