UST forces do-or-die match vs FEU in V-League

University of Santo Tomas (UST) defeated Far Eastern University (FEU) in four sets, forcing a do-or-die match for a finals berth in the 2025 V-League Collegiate Challenge.

UST secured the victory with set scores of 25-21, 25-21, 23-25, and 25-23, a day after suffering a five-set loss to FEU.

Despite a collapse in the third set where they squandered a six-point lead, UST recovered to secure the win.

Key players for UST included Josh Ybañez, Gboy de Vega, and Trevor Valera, who provided ample support.

FEU attempted a comeback in the third set, sparked by Mikko Espartero, Luis Miguel, and Lirick Mendoza, to extend the match to a fourth set.
