US-Philippines Society to meet in Manila Feb 10-11

The US-Philippines Society will convene in Manila on February 10-11 for its 2025 board meeting, addressing key bilateral issues and discussing regional and national trends.

This private sector-led forum is the first of its kind since the recent US electoral transition and will feature discussions on global and regional trends, American diplomacy in the Asia Pacific, and the Philippine government's priorities.

The meeting will also examine the policy implications of a potential second Trump administration and the upcoming Philippine midterm elections.

Ayala Corporation's Jaime Augusto Zobel de Ayala and Ambassador John D. Negroponte will co-chair the event, welcoming new board members from diverse sectors.

Established in 2012, the US-Philippines Society aims to strengthen US-Philippines relations through various programs covering business, governance, culture, education, and strategic issues.
