UnionBank launches zero-touch onboarding for digital payroll accounts

UnionBank has launched "Zero-Touch Onboarding," a pioneering fully digital solution for opening payroll accounts in the Philippines.

This new system eliminates the need for manual intervention in the payroll account opening process.

Developed on UnionBank's The Portal platform, it significantly reduces the turnaround time from the typical two weeks to under 24 hours.

Employees can now have their salaries credited as early as the day after they complete the digital account opening.

The innovation aims to alleviate the administrative burden on HR and Operations teams, freeing up valuable time for companies.
