UK removes PH from travel red list starting Oct 11

The United Kingdom will remove the Philippines from its "travel red list" effective October 11, allowing fully vaccinated travelers to re-enter England without mandatory hotel quarantine.

Previously placed on the red list in April amid global COVID-19 case surges, the Philippines will join 46 other countries and territories no longer subject to the stringent entry requirements.

Starting Monday, fully vaccinated individuals and eligible minors returning from non-red list countries will only be required to undergo a Day 2 COVID-19 test.

Unvaccinated travelers returning from these destinations must still adhere to pre-departure testing, Day 2 and Day 8 testing, and a 10-day self-isolation period, with an option for early release through the Test to Release scheme on Day 5.
