Typhoon Ulysses death toll reaches 23 in Region II

The death toll from Typhoon Ulysses has risen to 23 in Region II alone, with reports of 14 deaths from landslides, six from drowning, and three from electrocution.

In Region II, five individuals remain missing, and three have been reported injured.

A total of 13,360 families have taken refuge in 1,288 evacuation centers across Region II, with an additional 4,200 families staying with relatives.

Across Region II, four cities and 63 towns were affected by widespread flooding, with some areas like Cabagan and Santo Tomas in Isabela, and most parts of Tuguegarao City submerged.

The Magat Dam was observed to be nearly full, continuing its spilling operations.

Sixty percent of Tuguegarao City was flooded, with rescue and military operations being conducted from the city's airport.
