Typhoon Quinta leaves 5 dead, 6 missing in Bicol

Typhoon Quinta left five individuals dead and six others missing in the Bicol region.

Three fishermen, including a father and son, were recovered dead in Catanduanes after being reported missing.

A three-year-old boy drowned in Albay, and another casualty in Camarines Norte was due to electrocution.

Fifteen people sustained injuries across Albay, Sorsogon, Camarines Norte, and Catanduanes.

Damage to agriculture, infrastructure, fisheries, and electrical facilities in Bicol reached over P688 million.

Roads in Catanduanes and Masbate also sustained significant damage amounting to over P4 million each.
