Two suspects, Salem Edu and Berting Abdullah, were arrested in Surigao City on Tuesday, Sept. 9, for the March 19, 2022 murder of retired Cotabato City Police Director Rolen Balquin.
The arrests were made by agents of the Police Anti-Kidnapping Group (AKG) in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) through an arrest warrant issued by Judge Annabelle Piang of the Regional Trial Court Branch 13 in Cotabato City.
