Two babies born at midnight at Fabella Hospital to kick off 2026

Two healthy babies, Yuri and Zamara, were born exactly at midnight on New Year's Day, January 1, 2026, at Dr. Jose Fabella Memorial Hospital.

Yuri, born prematurely to Sally Alburo, is healthy and in stable condition, while Zamara, born 10 seconds later to first-time mother Jennilyn Dalen, is also healthy.

Both babies were delivered through normal deliveries.

The births mark the hospital's first recorded births of 2026.

According to a doctor at Fabella Hospital, there was a lower number of patients admitted this year compared to previous years.
