Areas under Wind Signal No. 1, including Cagayan, Apayao, Ilocos Norte, Abra, Ilocos Sur, Mountain Province, Kalinga, and northern Isabela, could experience minimal to minor impacts from strong winds.

Occasional rains are also expected in Metro Manila, Cavite, Batangas, Pampanga, Bulacan, and Western Visayas due to the southwest monsoon.

As of Friday evening, Dodong was located 150 km northwest of Dagupan City, Pangasinan, with winds of 55 kph and gusts of 70 kph, moving southwest toward the West Philippine Sea.
