TRB approves toll hikes for SLEX and STAR Tollway starting Jan 1

The Toll Regulatory Board (TRB) has announced toll fee increases for the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) and Southern Tagalog Arterial Road (STAR) Tollway, effective January 1, 2026.

For SLEX, the Alabang to Calamba section will increase by P10 for Class 1, P21 for Class 2, and P31 for Class 3 vehicles, with new rates of P126, P253, and P379, respectively.

The Calamba to Sto. Tomas section of SLEX will see toll hikes of P3 for Class 1, P5 for Class 2, and P8 for Class 3 vehicles, resulting in new rates of P34, P68, and P102.

STAR Tollway's Sto. Tomas to Lipa section will experience a toll increase of P5 for Class 1, P9 for Class 2, and P14 for Class 3 vehicles, with new rates of P60, P119, and P179.

The Lipa to Batangas section of STAR Tollway will have corresponding toll hikes of P4 for Class 1, P8 for Class 2, and P12 for Class 3 vehicles, leading to new rates of P53, P106, and P159.

The TRB stated these adjustments are necessary for the continued operations, maintenance, and improvements of the expressways to ensure a safer, faster, and more convenient travel experience.
