Terrence Romeo returns to 3x3 basketball after 10 years

Veteran Filipino basketball player Terrence Romeo is set to make a comeback to 3x3 basketball after a decade-long hiatus, joining the Manila Melmac team for the FIBA 3x3 Manila Challenger.

His return to the halfcourt game, facilitated by Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas and Melmac Sports, marks his first 3x3 appearance since the 2014 and 2015 FIBA 3x3 World Tour where he played for Manila West.

Romeo, whose PBA contract with Terrafirma expired in August and was not renewed, last played in the PBA in June.

The Manila Challenger, scheduled for September 20-21 at Ayala Malls Manila Bay, is a qualifier for the FIBA 3x3 Macau Masters.

He will team up with Mac Tallo, Abdul Sawat, and Henry Iloka, coached by Chico Lanete.
