Tenorio defends Gilas Pilipinas Youth after FIBA U16 Asia Cup exit

Gilas Pilipinas Youth head coach LA Tenorio defended his players after their early exit from the FIBA U16 Asia Cup, stating that the loss does not define them.

The Philippines failed to advance after losing to Bahrain in the quarterfinals qualifiers with a score of 79-66.

Tenorio acknowledged the team did not achieve their desired outcome but highlighted the players' sacrifices, resilience, dedication, hard work, and teamwork.

He stated that the loss should be viewed as a learning opportunity and a stepping stone for future success.
